Executive Summary: Hey Everyone, here is a great article that talks about the current gaps related to cybersecurity for space-based systems. For the longest times, nations and corporations were able to claim that their systems were cybersecure by “obscurity”, meaning that these systems were so complex that there was no means by which that they can be tampered. However, with the dawn of the internet age and complex tools/methods, over 2,000 “cyber incidents” were made in 2020 according to a 2021 NASA report.
